San Francisco Tour

The NPU Student Association would like to invite you on a tour of San Francisco. This trip will be limited to 50 students on a first come, first served basis. Please sign up in the library. You must have your student ID card to sign up (you can't sign your friends up). The library is open from 12:30pm to 8:30pm today and on Thursday before the trip.
When: Friday, May 17th, 2013, 8:30am to 6:30pm
Where: Meet in the parking lot of the South Building on the NPU Campus at 8:00am SHARP
Please bring comfortable clothes but a light jacket as well since San Francisco is sometimes cold, even in the summer time.

NPU Table Tennis OPEN results

The Spring 2013 Table Tennis Open wrapped up the semester competition with great fun, friends, and don't forget,.. pizza. A special thanks to President Hsieh for taking an interest in the NPU Table Tennis Club and firing up the students, faculty, and staff to come out on Thursdays this semester to learn a bit about the game and to participate in a school-wide event.
Students had a blast and got to know and make new friends from other countries and cultures. Table tennis is an international game which unites people from around the world and brings them together to share fun and friendship. Everyone enjoyed the casual and friendly environment in which they could relax from the stress of their academic schedules and just enjoy a good time with their classmates and their professors as well. It did not matter if you were a beginner or an advanced player. There was something for everyone is this NPU-wide event.
The final event today was a single elimination competition at 3 levels: Beginner, intermediate, and advanced players. More than 12 teams played doubles within their level. They had been practicing in the weeks prior to this event and today allowed the hardest working atheletes to show their talents. Congratulations to our NPU Table Tennis Champions and to everyone that came out to cheer each other on and share a good time. NPU provided Snacks and pizza were always a welcome follow-up to the event and everyone brings home fond memories of the Spring 2013 NPU Table Tennis Open!
NPU Idol - Sat. 4/5/13, 2-4pm, Rec Center

Are you ready for the next NPU Idol competition? Please join your fellow students and classmates in a talent competition sponsored by the Student Association. Join the competition or just come out and enjoy the show. NPU has some amazing talent in dance, singing, musical instruments, and more. A great event brought to you by the Student Association. Sign up in the library if you want to join the competition. No sign up needed to just enjoy the party.
Table Tennis Open

The team selections and first practice started last Thursday for the Spring Semester 2013 Table Tennis Open. Everyone is welcome and there are events for beginner, intermediate, and advanced players. All tables were in full use as Table Tennis Club members and expert coaches helped beginners get started. More practice will follow every Thursday at 5:00 pm in the Rec Center. Please come out and support your NPU Student Association clubs and events!
